Self-fusing Semi Conducting Tape is a self-amalgamating ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) semi- conducting tape used on high voltage solid dielectric cable for conductor and insulation shielding in
splices and terminations. The tape comes with a separator that is removed during the taping process. Both the tape and separator are printed with the advice that it is a semi-conducting tape. It is suitable for use with conductors rated at 90 °C with an emergency overload rating of 130 ° C. Volume resistance is less than 103 Ω.cm.
